The Best Aussie & Kiwi Coffee Shops in London

I didn’t even drink coffee until I started dating an Australia. Appalled, he got me started with a very weak mocha and trained me up to appreciate the fine art of freshly roasted single origin beans.

Fast forward 5 years and I’m a bit of a coffee snob. I’ve sampled some of the best beans in Sydney and Melbourne and before embarking on my latest trip to London panicked that I would be in a good coffee black hole for the next few weeks. This is a bit mean though. Of course, London has its own roasters and artisan coffee shops but my research revealed it also has its fair share of great Aussie and Kiwi coffee companies too.

So whether you’re an Aussie/Kiwi expat or a London local looking for some good beans to try I’ve rounded up my favourite Aussie and Kiwi coffee spots in London as follows:

Workshop Coffee, Clerkenwell

Flat White, Soho

Milkbar, Soho

Sacred, Soho

Allpress Espresso Bar, Shoreditch

To find out more about the coffee and (Aussie inspired) sweet treats at each of these cafes read my latest article for Skyscanner Australia.

  1. Gah I never drank coffee until I moved to Melbourne and now I’m hooked, it’s terrible! I even took a coffee class just to learn how to make coffee properly. I actually made it through all of January without one cup of coffee though. Next time I’m in London, I’ll be sure to check at least one of those places out!

    • Ha I can see how Melbourne would get you hooked. Well done for going cold turkey in Jan – that’s seriously impressive 😉

  2. I’ve always love coffee, but when I lobe to Lithuanian my coffee-world expanded when I went to a coffee tasting and tried single origin beans from all over the world. They all have such different flavors!
