From Where I Work: On Board The Carnival Legend In The South Pacific

I’m on a boat!

(Well, technically not. If you follow me on social media you may have noticed that I landed back in Sydney yesterday but today is the first chance I’ve had to post this blog so please excuse the time delay.)

I’ve just spent 10 nights sailing the South Pacific on board the Carnival Legend. It was my first ever cruise experience and it was really exciting (and refreshing) to try a completely new travel experience. I was invited to join the cruise by Cruiseabout Australia who commissioned me to write a number of articles about the experience for their blog. In the next couple of weeks I’ll be writing up my thoughts on the Carnival Legend cruise experience, the phenomenal on board cuisine and the destinations we visited in New Caledonia. You can find the Cruiseabout blog here if you’d like to follow along.

I’ll, of course, be sharing some of my experiences on here too; like all the things I didn’t know about cruising (from how to check in, to what on earth to wear!) as well as my tips for cruising the South Pacific.

I loaned a camera from Olympus Australia for this trip so I’ve got heaps of photos I can’t wait to share with you. I requested to loan an Olympus Pen Mini as it’s a very compact camera with flip-down screen for selfies and in built Wi-Fi, which allows you to share images straight to your phone. I absolutely loved it and will write up all the reasons why in the next few weeks.

But for now it’s back to the laundry, grocery shopping and gym (got to work off all those 4 course meals!). I hope you all had a great Easter weekend. Where in the world did you spend it?
