Once again I found myself lusting after this iconic Loewe basket bag in London last week, but as it cost more than my flights to Marrakesh next month (true story!) I just can’t justify it. So instead I’ve scoured the internet for stylish basket bags that are perfect for travel and won’t cost more than your trip.
Sezane in particular have nailed this trend with a whole range of head-turning basket bags that will take you from the airport to the beach. I had to put 6 of them on this list but the ruffles on the Mila are pretty hard to resist!
I love that they’ve also released their iconic Farrow bucket bag in raffia. I have this in the taupe suede and it’s the perfect size for days out. Roomy enough for wallet, water, my Olympus Pen camera & toddler snacks, but not too roomy that you overfill it and give yourself back ache.
